Drop Zone Müller: Experience the drop
After you board, the ride takes you upwards. At the top, the view of the fairground changes: you can see over the neighbouring stalls and rides. Then comes the descent, the defining feature of a drop tower. How intense you find this moment also depends on your personal perception. The exact ride duration and acceleration for this particular ride have not been reliably published, so no estimates are given here.
The operator also describes LED lighting and fog and sound effects. These elements help shape the atmosphere around the tower, especially after dark. If you are sensitive to intense lighting effects, ask the staff about the current show programme before riding. You can also watch the tower's movement and lighting effects from the ground.

Drop Zone Müller: technology and special features
The tower was made by the Italian manufacturer SBF-Visa in 2006. The Ride-Index trade database lists 16 passenger places, a front width of 12,5 metres, a depth of 6,9 metres and a power connection of 22 kilowatts. The operator highlights its compact footprint and describes a design that allows the backdrop to be removed if required. According to the operator, the ride meets the European safety standard DIN EN 13814. This does not, of course, replace the safety briefing or the operating rules in force at the venue.
History: From Mainfest to Drop Zone Müller
According to Ride-Index, the drop tower made its debut at Mainfest in Frankfurt in August 2006. The ride initially travelled under Alex Schramm. Andreas Müller has been listed as the operator since 2015. Today, the Müller showman family features the tower on its own website and also publishes a tour schedule there. This succession of operators is important to the ride's history: older footage from the Schramm era may show the same physical ride, even though a different name appears on the operator's vehicle.

Drop Zone Müller: Who is the ride suitable for?
The operator lists a minimum height of 120 centimetres. You should still check the current notices at the ticket office, as safe participation is subject to the conditions posted at the venue. If you have never ridden a drop tower before, watch a full ride first. This will give you an idea of the height, movements and noise level. Loose items must be secured as instructed by the staff.
Tips for your visit
The combination of a relatively low structure and a noticeable drop makes the tower interesting to many fairgoers. The best way to decide whether you will enjoy the ride is to watch it first. Fares and waiting times vary by event, so no general figures are given here. Find more rides in our attractions directory. The operator's official Drop Zone website publishes binding information about the current tour and safety..
