In the Unterstadt, meanwhile, the programme is spread across the market square and other squares. You can move between rides, food and drink options, and music stages. The fair also features lively traditions rooted in the town’s history.
Rides, Saubraten and wine stalls
The amusement park usually has children’s carousels, larger rides and games. However, no current list has yet confirmed which showmen 2027 will be attending. The Saubraten is also a special feature of the Wittlich fair. The organisers’ 2026 information mentions that it will be served for the first time on Saturday and then on further festival days. Säubrennerkirmes Wittlich 2027: opening times
The town published different start times for the fairground for 2026. On Fridays, it opened in the evening; on Saturdays and Sundays, from midday. On Mondays, it opened in the early afternoon. On Tuesdays, opening hours were shorter. However, the daily closing times for the rides for 2027 have not yet been confirmed. The structured MEC timetable therefore remains empty for now. Once the town confirms the current schedule, exact daily times and any special rules can be added.
Säubrennersage, music and family day
The traditional Säubrennersage is brought to life through a play and a procession. There are also customs surrounding the siege drink. In addition, the programme included live music on several stages, a laser show and a family day with reduced ride prices 2026. However, the exact schedule for August 2027 has not yet been set. Admission, travel and visitor information
