Weida – Mittelalterspektakel 2027

Mittelalterspektakel Weida 2027 takes place from 13 to 14 March 2027 at the Osterburg site in Weida. The town's events calendar lists the spectacle at Osterburg. The historic castle setting shapes the character of this weekend and clearly distinguishes the event from a traditional funfair on a fairground. This gives you the key details for your planning. Check the organiser's information for further details before your visit.

Mittelalterspektakel Weida 2027: Venue and background

Osterburg is a historic venue in Weida. The event announcement does not give full details of which traders, participants and demonstrations will be involved in the 2027 edition. The exact nature of each edition can vary from year to year. That is why this page clearly distinguishes between confirmed information for 2027 and general information about the event. Even if you want to plan early, it is worth checking the organiser's latest news later.

What can you expect on site?

The event announcement itself is therefore especially important when planning your visit. You should not assume that there will be particular market stalls, demonstrations or performances until the organiser publishes a detailed programme. The town's events calendar lists the spectacle at Osterburg. The historic castle setting shapes the character of this weekend and clearly distinguishes the event from a traditional funfair on a fairground. This overview is intended to guide you without presenting unconfirmed programme items or a provisional list of traders as final. If you are travelling for a particular experience, check in advance whether it has actually been announced for the 2027 edition.

Mittelalterspektakel Weida 2027: Dates and opening hours

The official calendar gives a start time of 11 o'clock for the event. A reliable daily closing time and a complete schedule are not yet available. Until a fully verified schedule is available, we deliberately do not display estimated or automatically pre-filled times. Also be aware that short-notice changes may result from organisational decisions or special circumstances on site.

Admission, prices and preparation

We do not currently have a reliably confirmed admission price for the 2027 event. We therefore do not explicitly describe it as a free event. Some activities may incur additional costs. We recommend checking the organiser's information before your visit. This is especially important if you are travelling with children or planning around a limited budget. This helps you avoid surprises from paid activities, which may not be included in any possible admission charge for the site.

Getting there and finding your way around

Osterburg is located at Schloßberg 14 in 07570 Weida. Bear in mind that paths and entrances at a castle may be different from those at a flat fairground. Allow plenty of time to get to the venue. Traffic conditions at weekends and on public holidays may differ from those on a normal working day. Specific travel advice depends on your starting point and the current traffic and timetable situation.

Official information and more funfair dates

For confirmed date updates and specific details, we recommend the official event information. You can find more ideas for your next visit in the funfair calendar from Kirmestermine.eu. The information published here is deliberately not supplemented with speculative showmen, times or additional events. This makes it clear which details are currently confirmed and which are still open.
