Richterswil – Chilbi Richterswil 2027
What to expect
Chilbi Richterswil 2027 is taking place from 06.08 to 08.08.2027, as confirmed by the organiser. Here you can find the date, festival site and more visitor information.
Chilbi Richterswil 2027: official dates
The Richterswil Tourist Association has already announced the dates for Dorfchilbi 2027. From Friday, 6 August to Sunday, 8 August, Horn becomes a festival site. The event is one of the traditional summer events on Lake Zurich. Here, the funfair also coincides with market stalls and various food and drink venues. The final selection of individual showmen will only be confirmed after the application process. Specific rides have therefore not yet been confirmed.
Dorfchilbi at Horn and the lakeside promenade
The Chilbi takes place at Horn in Richterswil, right by Lake Zurich. This makes it easy to combine a trip to the lake with a visit to the fair. Alongside the rides, market stalls along the lakeside promenade are part of the event. Food and drink are also available. The Tourist Association specifically names Horn as the venue. However, a final site plan for 2027 has not yet been published.
Rides and food and drink
The Tourist Association invites applications from rides, walk-through attractions, children's rides and game stalls. Vendors with market stalls or food stalls can also apply. The call for applications for the 2027 event gives fixed application deadlines. This shows that preparations are under way, but it is not a complete list of participants. We therefore do not name any unconfirmed showmen or attraction models. The programme and selection may change before summer 2027.
Chilbi Richterswil 2027: admission and opening times
Entry to the public Chilbi is listed as free. Rides, food and some games usually cost extra. Prices and discounts for the 2027 event have not yet been fully published. Confirmed opening times for the three event days are also not available. For now, no times are listed in the calendar. Check the latest information from the Tourist Association before your visit.
Getting to Dorfchilbi
Use Hornstrasse in 8805 Richterswil as a guide when travelling to the event. The festival site is by the lake, not in the central village square. Traffic arrangements may change during setup. Parking may also be limited on a busy summer weekend. Check the latest parking information and public transport timetables. No confirmed road closure times are available for 2027.
Association activities and other Chilbi dates
The Chilbi working group of the Tourist Association has organised Dorfchilbi at Horn for many years. The official call for applications gives the exact dates for 2027 as 6 to 8 August. We therefore do not use different dates from general calendars. Find more events in our funfair calendar. The latest programme details and application information are on the official Chilbi page.
