Passau – Passau Autumn Fair 2027

The Passauer Herbstdult 2027 is expected to be celebrated at Messepark Kohlbruck from Friday, 3 September, to Sunday, 12 September 2027. The dates are listed in several current annual calendars, although the city of Passau has not yet confirmed them as a separate event. For ten days, the Herbstdult traditionally combines an amusement park with festival tents, game stalls and food and drink. It brings the Passau funfair season to a close in autumn.

Passauer Autumn Fair 2027 at Messepark

The fair and festival grounds are located in Passau’s Kohlbruck district. They have space for various rides and an extensive festival tent area. The autumn Dult differs from the Maidult in spring and has its own programme of events. It is also a regular September date for many families and visitors from Lower Bavaria. With its mix of funfair attractions and Bavarian fair culture, it’s ideal for a day trip or an evening out with friends.

Rides, Dultstadl and specialities

Previous autumn fairs featured large and small rides, children’s carousels, game stalls and sales stands. The Dultstadl, other festival tents and beer gardens also offered regional food. The City of Passau documented several new and familiar attractions for 2026. However, it has not yet been confirmed which individual attractions will return for 2027. The line-up of rides will therefore be added only after a current list has been published.

Passauer Herbstdult 2027: Opening hours

Opening hours provisional, as of 2026. The city’s fair follows a schedule with a separate time slot for the opening day, longer opening hours on Sundays and public holidays, and an earlier closing time on the final day of the fair. The general operating hours have been recorded in a structured format. As the city may set special hours, these are still being checked against the final details for September 2027. Admission to the public fairground has so far been free; rides and refreshments are paid for separately.

Family day, music and fireworks

At Herbstdult 2026, for example, there was an opening promotion, a children's and family day, a girls' night and fireworks. There were also musical performances and an Oldies Day. These programme highlights give you a good idea of the character of the fair, but do not confirm 2027. Therefore, no previous individual dates are being entered as confirmed new programme dates. The city's final announcement is still awaited.

Getting there and latest information

The Dultplatz is located in the Messepark Kohlbruck on Dr.-Emil-Brichta-Straße. Travelling by public transport may be a good option, especially on busy weekends. At previous Dult events, Passau provided additional bus services and free return journeys towards the ZOB. Check the special timetable for 2027 in advance.
