Osnabrück – Spring Fair 2027

The Osnabrück Spring Fair 2027 runs from Friday, 12 March, to Sunday, 21 March 2027 at the Halle Gartlage site. Marketing Osnabrück has officially announced the ten-day event. The traditional fair brings together thrilling rides, children's carousels, game stalls and culinary specialities. Admission to the public fairground is free; you have to pay for individual rides and food and drink.

Osnabrück Spring Fair 2027 at Halle Gartlage

Halle Gartlage on Schlachthofstraße becomes a fairground in spring for visitors from Osnabrück and the surrounding area. The Spring Fair is a separate seasonal event alongside the equally popular Autumn Fair. The organisers bring together numerous stalls and attractions on the forecourt and adjoining open spaces. You can move between gentle family attractions and larger rides. A complete line-up of rides for spring 2027 has not yet been published, so some attractions have not been confirmed.

Rides, games and specialities

Previous fairs have featured bumper cars, a Ferris wheel, large circular rides and numerous attractions especially for children. Classic fairground games such as tin-can alley and duck fishing are also part of the typical fair scene. In addition, food stalls offer sweet treats, savoury dishes and drinks. However, the attractions on offer for the 2026 edition do not show which showmen and specific attractions will take part in 2027. So links to ride profiles will remain unavailable until current information from the organisers or operators is available.

Osnabrück Spring Fair 2027: Opening times

Opening times are provisional, as of 2026. According to the operating schedule most recently used for the Spring Fair, the fair generally opens at 15 on Mondays to Fridays and at 14 on Saturdays and Sundays. The rides closed at 22 from Monday to Thursday and on Sundays, and at 23 on Fridays and Saturdays. These previous year's times are clearly shown in the MEC schedule; the dates 2027 have been officially confirmed, but daily closing times for the new edition have not been announced separately. Changes may therefore be made in line with the organisers' latest information.

Family day and other events

The Osnabrück fair is known for activities aimed at families. In previous years, family day was held on Wednesdays, while fireworks or special opening events were offered on Fridays. These highlights have not yet been individually confirmed with dates and times for March 2027. They are therefore not listed here as confirmed events. Once Marketing Osnabrück publishes the specific plans for the year, family day, fireworks and special events can be added with reliable information.

Admission and getting to Osnabrück

Most recently, the fair on the public site was open to visitors without an admission ticket. Rides, games, drinks and food are charged separately. Drivers can use a free parking field provided by the city at Halle Gartlage; access is via Schlachthofstraße. You can reach the area by bus, for example, via the Bremer Brücke stop.
