Kerkplein is the planned focal point of the funfair. You can start your walk around the town centre here. The municipal administration lists Meikermis as a four-day event from Saturday to Tuesday. The official annual rule therefore sets the dates for 2027 as the four days from 8 to 11 May. A separate event announcement for 2027 has not yet been published.
Unlike the fairground funfair on Easter Monday, this is a separate Meikermis event. The September funfair in the town centre is also held on a different date. So when travelling, make sure you know which event you want to visit.
Which rides are coming to Nijlen?
An official line-up of rides for May 2027 is not yet available. It is therefore not currently possible to say reliably which rides, children's attractions and game stalls will be set up.
