Neuss-Furth Marksmen's Festival 2027: From Friday, 14 May to Tuesday, 18 May 2027, the Further Schützenbruderschaft celebrates its major fair and local festival. The date has already been published in the official events calendar of the St. Sebastianus Schützenbruderschaft Neuss-Furth. Over these five days, marksmen's traditions, a festival tent, a funfair and social gatherings come together in the Furth district.
Neuss-Furth Marksmen's Festival 2027 at Further Kirmesplatz
The festival site is at Further Kirmesplatz, near Neusser Weyhe. The surrounding streets in Furth also shape this fair and local festival. The marksmen's brotherhood organises traditional marksmen's events and celebrations there. This creates a festival that is about more than just rides: music, socialising and club life are also part of it.
The official programme is called “Volks- und Heimatfest Neuss-Furth”. We have therefore included both commonly used names: the marksmen's festival and the Further fair and local festival. Do not confuse it with the large Neusser Bürger-Schützenfest, which takes place on a different date in the city centre.
Rides and funfair excitement in Furth
The Further funfair is part of the fair and local festival and usually offers classic fair attractions for several age groups. Visitors will find rides, game stalls and food and drink stands on and around the fairground. Festival tent events also provide opportunities to socialise. The specific showmen or larger rides booked for May 2027 will be announced later.
Rides from previous years cannot automatically be assumed to return for the new edition. We therefore avoid presenting an unconfirmed list of attractions while the organiser has yet to publish the relevant line-up of rides. You can still note the official festival dates now to plan your visit.

The brotherhood has confirmed the festival period as Friday, 14 May to Tuesday, 18 May 2027. However, this is initially the overall period of the fair and local festival. The funfair's operating hours may differ from those of the marksmen's events. A complete official funfair schedule for 2027 has not yet been published, so daily opening hours are not listed.
Processions, festival tent and marksmen's traditions
The Further marksmen's traditions include processions, club evenings, church services and public events. There is also a social programme in the festival tent. The brotherhood has already listed several separate events before the festival itself for 2027, including the coronation and the Oberstehrenabend. These are not part of the five stated funfair days, so they have not been incorrectly added to the daily schedule.
Admission and travel to the festival site
Based on previous practice, the public area of Further Kirmesplatz is accessible without a ticket. Rides, games and certain festival tent events may incur charges. Use Neusser Weyhe in the Furth district as a landmark. Expect temporary road closures and heavier visitor traffic when travelling to the festival.
