Marl-Hüls – Osterkirmes 2027

Osterkirmes Marl-Hüls 2027 takes place according to the current official designation from Saturday, 27 March to Tuesday, 30 March 2027 at the market square in the Hüls district. The City of Marl sets the period permanently from Easter Saturday to the first working day after Easter. For 2027, this means four funfair days, including Easter Monday and the following Tuesday. The individual dates have been calculated from this official annual rule and have not yet been published as a separate event date.

Osterkirmes Marl-Hüls 2027: Four days at the market square

The Easter funfair is part of life in the Marl-Hüls district. It takes place at the market square on Friedrichstraße and Rathenaustraße. During the Easter holidays, the site becomes a meeting place for funfair visitors. Unlike larger fairs held on extensive fairgrounds, everything here takes place right in the middle of the district.

The official designation also explicitly names the market square as the location. This is useful for finding your way, as Marl has several districts and event sites. If you are travelling from another town, plan to walk the final stretch to the market. Specific traffic measures for 2027 are not yet known.

Osterkirmes Marl-Hüls 2027 opening times

The City of Marl has set daily opening hours for the Easter funfair from 14:00 to 22:00 o’clock. This rule applies to all four event days, from Easter Saturday to the first working day after Easter. This means you can plan your funfair visit for either the afternoon or evening. If the city announces different times for the 2027 edition, the newer official information will take precedence.

Good Friday, 26 March 2027, is not one of the designated funfair days. The annual rule also provides for funfair operations on Easter Monday, 29 March. The final day is then Tuesday, 30 March. This makes it easy to combine your visit with the public holidays without confusing the dates of different Easter events.

Rides, stalls and prices

The showmen and rides that will be at the Hüls market square for 2027 have not yet been officially announced. The line-up can change from year to year. We therefore deliberately do not list rides from older line-ups as participants in the new edition.

Confirmed prices for rides and games, as well as an explicit admission policy for 2027, are also not yet available. A family day or other special offers have not yet been announced either. The details can be added once an official programme is published.

Getting there, parking and official information

The funfair site is in the Hüls district, around the market square. At previous editions, there were temporary road closures and no-stopping restrictions around Friedrichstraße. Such measures have not yet been confirmed for 2027. Check the latest information from the City of Marl before travelling, and do not count on unrestricted parking directly at the site.
