Heiligenhaus – St Martin's funfair 2026

Martinskirmes Heiligenhaus 2026: From Friday, 6 November to Sunday, 8 November 2026, Kirchplatz in Heiligenhaus becomes a small funfair. The town announces the traditional Martinskirmes, featuring a Music Express, a children's carousel and other showman attractions. At the same time, Sunday is dedicated to the large Martinsmarkt in the town centre. The two events complement each other, but they do not have the same start dates.

Martinskirmes Heiligenhaus 2026 at Kirchplatz

The showmen set up their attractions at Kirchplatz. Here, you can combine a traditional funfair stroll with a visit to the town centre. A children's carousel is specifically announced for families. The town also mentions a Music Express. The official announcement does not give a full breakdown of any additional attractions or individual ride prices. We therefore do not list any unconfirmed rides here.

Martinsmarkt and Sunday programme

The Heiligenhauser Martinsmarkt also takes place on Sunday, 8 November, from 12 to 18. Along Hauptstraße, clubs, craftspeople and other vendors set up their stalls. There will also be food and drink, a flea market at Forum Hitzbleck and activities organised by local shops. Shops will open on Sunday from 13 to 18. Music, magic and other events are planned at Rathausplatz.

Martins procession and family activities

A Martins procession for children is on the programme on Sunday. It starts at around 17 at Schulstraße and goes through the town centre to Rathausplatz. An ecumenical children's service is scheduled there for around 17:30. Afterwards, participating children are to receive Weckmann rolls. A children's train is also announced at Place de Meaux, where it is due to start running on Saturday. This lets you combine a visit to the rides with the other activities.

Martinskirmes Heiligenhaus 2026 opening hours

The three-day period of Martinskirmes has been officially announced. However, the town's notice does not give reliable daily operating hours for the rides. The time from 12 to 18 refers to the Martinsmarkt on Sunday and should not be taken as the opening hours for all the rides.

Getting there and further information

Hauptstraße in the town centre will be temporarily closed to traffic for the Martinsmarkt. On Sunday, when shops are open, parking is planned to be free in the car parks named by the town, including the one at Forum Hitzbleck. Check the latest traffic arrangements.
