What to expect

The Vogue de Carouge 2027 is provisionally scheduled from Friday, 27 August, to Sunday, 29 August 2027. The City of Carouge describes the Vogue as an annual festival held on the last weekend of August. However, there is no separate date announcement for 2027 on the organiser's website yet. Rides, concerts, club stalls and activities for children are traditionally offered around Place de Sardaigne. Entry to the Vogue is free; individual rides and food cost extra.

Vogue de Carouge 2027 at Place de Sardaigne

The Vogue is one of the best-known town festivals in the Canton of Geneva. It is organised by Cartel des Sociétés Carougeoises and brings Place de Sardaigne and the neighbouring lanes to life. The city describes three days of festivities on the last weekend in August as the regular schedule. This means that in 2027 it is expected to run from Friday, 27 August, to Sunday, 29 August. However, the exact date and stall allocations still need to be confirmed by the organisers. The central square traditionally features festival tents, social areas and a wide range of activities for different age groups.

Rides, games and family programme

The Vogue is a proper funfair with carousel rides and other rides. Previous editions have featured both thrilling attractions and smaller activities for children. The festival also includes a dedicated children's area called P’tits Loups. This usually offers fun activities and workshops. However, the showmen and specific rides taking part in 2027 have not yet been announced. We therefore do not list individual rides as confirmed. The title image used is explicitly an original funfair illustration and does not show an actual scene from the Vogue.

Vogue de Carouge 2027: Opening times

Opening times are provisional, as of 2026. At the time, the City of Carouge published hours of 18.30 to 2 on Friday, 11 to 2 on Saturday and 11 to 20 on Sunday. These three time slots are listed as provisional guidance in the MEC calendar for 2027. However, individual carousel rides, food stalls and the children's area may close earlier. Full new opening times for 2027 are not yet available. So, especially if you are visiting on Friday evening, check the city's latest announcement.

Live music, clubs and specialities

As well as rides, concerts and street music are a feature of Vogue de Carouge. The city also mentions craft stalls, food and drink, and family activities. Local clubs run some of the festival catering and contribute to the lively atmosphere. The 2026 programme included various bands and marching bands. However, these performances are not confirmed for 2027, as the music programme is put together anew each year. We therefore do not list any performers from previous editions as current programme acts. If you want to combine music and the funfair, wait for the updated programme.
