Bad Kreuznach – Bad Kreuznacher Jahrmarkt 2027

Bad Kreuznacher Jahrmarkt 2027 takes place from 20 to 24 August 2027 at the Pfingstwiese. The City of Bad Kreuznach confirms the dates. Regional tourism websites have also already published daily opening times for the five days of the fair. Under the motto “Nix wie enunner!”, you can look forward to rides, wine tents, the traditional Dippemarkt and numerous food stalls. This popular fair attracts visitors from the Nahe region and further afield every year.

Bad Kreuznacher Jahrmarkt 2027 at the Pfingstwiese

The fair has been part of Bad Kreuznach’s cultural life since 1810. It is one of the large five-day fairs in Rhineland-Palatinate. A varied fairground is set up right by the Nahe, with rides, food and drink stalls and a row of traders. The Pfingstwiese offers plenty of space for large attractions and many smaller stalls. The fair is also closely linked to the traditions of showman families and to the city’s social life.

Rides, Dippemarkt and Naheweinzelt

The Bad Kreuznacher Jahrmarkt traditionally features both family rides and high-speed attractions. There are also prize draws, confectionery and a range of food and drink options. At the Naheweinzelt, you can discover wines from the region, while the Dippemarkt is a traditional area with market stalls. A total of 181 rides, retail businesses and food and drink businesses were approved for 2026. However, this figure from the previous year is not a confirmed line-up of rides for 2027. Therefore, no individual rides have yet been assigned to the new edition.

Bad Kreuznach Fair 2027: Opening hours

For the 2027 edition, the regional events calendar already lists specific opening times. On the opening Friday, the fair begins at 17. The rides open later on Saturday and Monday than on Sunday. On all five days, the listed opening hours run until 3 at night. The individual times are available in the MEC schedule so you can compare them before travelling. The city may still make changes for safety reasons or due to the weather.

Opening, family activities and fireworks

The official opening is traditionally celebrated with seven salvos. A large fireworks display also marks the end on Tuesday evening. The regional tourism calendar lists 22 as the time for the fireworks on Tuesday, 24 August 2027. However, the display depends on safety and weather conditions. The 2026 edition also featured a family afternoon with discounts on Tuesday. Such an event has not yet been separately confirmed for 2027, so it is not listed as confirmed.

Admission, travel and visitor information

General access to the fairground is free, as has been the practice so far. Rides, games, food and drinks cost extra. If you are travelling by car, the official visitor information recommends using Gensinger Straße as a reference point for parking.
