The municipality of Rüti traditionally holds its Chilbi from Ascension Day until the following Sunday. In 2027, Ascension Day falls on Thursday, 6 May. This means the event runs from 6 to 9 May 2027. The date therefore follows the official recurring rule. However, the municipality has not yet announced the 2027 edition separately with a detailed programme. Individual activities and opening times have therefore not yet been confirmed.
Funfair site on Sonnenplatz
Sonnenplatz is the traditional festival site for the Chilbi in Rüti in the Zurich Oberland. Rides and game stalls are set up in the square. There is also food and drink for your funfair visit. For edition 2026, a festival restaurant run by the local football club was among the plans. It remains to be seen whether all the participants will be back for 2027. The exact locations and access points will only be confirmed once a site plan is available.

The Chilbi is a four-day event for children, young people and adults. Its character includes a range of entertainment as well as food stalls.
