Lembeek – Sint-Veroonmars 2027

The Sint-Veroonmars Lembeek 2027 reaches its highlight on Easter Monday, 29 March 2027: the organiser confirms the traditional procession on this day. The accompanying Easter funfair in the village centre is expected to run from 27 to 29 March. The three-day funfair period has so far only been listed in event calendars, while the date of the historic procession is officially confirmed.

Sint-Veroonmars Lembeek 2027: Easter Monday tradition

The Sint-Veroonmars is a centuries-old tradition in Lembeek, a district of Halle in Flemish Brabant. On Easter Monday, five groups accompany the silver reliquary of Saint Sint-Veroon along a route of around 18 kilometres. Four groups wear historic military uniforms reminiscent of Belgian uniforms from the Belle Époque. Music and marching rhythms accompany the procession. The organiser confirms the event for Monday, 29 March 2027. This procession is the central part of the celebrations and should not be confused with the opening hours of the funfair rides.

Accompanying Easter funfair at Claesplein

In addition to the traditional procession, a funfair is usually held in Lembeek. The locations listed are Claesplein and the area around Stevens-de Waelplein in the village centre. Families can enjoy rides and food stalls there while Easter is celebrated in the village. The specific rides that will be set up in 2027 have not yet been officially announced. Sint-Veroonmars Lembeek 2027: opening hours

The opening hours of the accompanying funfair have not yet been published. The generally listed event dates from 27 to 29 March should therefore be understood only as the expected funfair period. The historic march itself takes place on Easter Monday; its exact start and finish times for 2027 have not yet been fully confirmed. We have therefore not created an artificial MEC schedule. Please also note that the procession route may be temporarily closed to road traffic.

Programme of events on Holy Saturday and Easter Monday

According to the Carabiniers' published annual programme, a group procession will take place on Saturday, 27 March 2027. The official Sint-Veroonmars follows on Monday, 29 March. The Sint-Veroonsviering is also scheduled for Tuesday, 30 March; this programme day falls outside the funfair period listed here. We therefore clearly distinguish the club and procession events from the operation of the rides. Other concerts or performances will be added only once confirmed for the specific year.

Admission, getting there and other information

The public village centre is normally accessible without a general admission ticket. Individual rides, games and food and drink are charged separately; separate rules may apply to special club events. You can reach Lembeek by regional connections via Halle.
