Brüggen is in Viersen district on the Lower Rhine. The historic centre around Burgwall and the castle provides an attractive setting for the multi-day fair. In 2026, the event was held as a refreshed Pentecost fair, with activities in the pedestrian zone and the castle courtyard. Kreuzherrenplatz and other areas in the centre were also affected by traffic restrictions.
That is why our map is centred on Burgwall 4, without limiting the event to Kreuzherrenplatz alone. The areas actually included in 2027 have yet to be announced by the organiser.

Brüggener Pfingstfest is more than a simple funfair site. According to the official description of the 2026 edition, the programme included a large funfair with rides for all ages. There was also a traders' market in the town centre, food stalls and street art. This made for a varied mix for families and visitors from the region.
The exact selection of showmen, rides and stalls for 2027 is not yet known. We therefore do not present a previous year's line-up of rides as a confirmed list of participants. Even so, at a Pentecost fair like this you can generally combine a visit to the market with carousel rides and a walk through the historic castle area.

The refreshed Pentecost fair 2026 was also planned to include traders' stalls, walking acts and a varied food and drink offering. It has not yet been confirmed whether the municipality will use the same concept in 2027. The specific dates of any live performances and family activities are also still pending. Admission and travel to the Pentecost fair
The organiser's website listed free admission for the 2026 edition. Based on previous practice, you can therefore stroll around the fairground without an admission ticket.
