Highlights & records

Bertazzon Milano model cars with LED lighting; ten Drift-Cars; patented cars for wheelchair users with hand-operated acceleration.

Stardust 2.0 gives the classic bumper car ride more variety: Drift-Cars and specially designed accessible cars are part of the concept.

What it's like to ride Stardust 2.0 Dieckmann

On the ride floor, you decide which direction to go. Unlike a ride with a fixed route, encounters happen spontaneously: one driver makes a lap, the next suddenly changes direction, and soon two cars meet. This unpredictable interaction is part of the appeal of bumper cars. You can also ride with friends without everyone having to choose the same speed or route.

The operator's website lists Bertazzon Milano model cars with LED lighting. There are also ten Drift-Cars, which let you try out especially wide turns and gliding movements. This changes the nature of the ride: if you already know the usual collisions, you can focus on experiencing the car's sideways movement. At the same time, the basic principle remains the same: drivers choose their own path across the floor.

History of Stardust 2.0 Dieckmann

According to the operator, the current hall dates from 1997. Ride-Index lists it as a Cosmont two-post bumper car ride and names Dieter Fehlauer from Bargen as its previous operator until 2012. Under Dieckmann, the ride initially travelled under the name “Drive In”. Since the two bumper car halls were reorganised, it has been called “Stardust”. The addition 2.0 helps distinguish it from the older Stardust hall, which was a different physical ride.

The operating family also runs the newer “Drive In 2.0” at the same time. So it is important not to confuse the two halls. The Stardust 2.0, built in 1997, is not the new Drive In 2.0 from 2026, nor is it the historic Schwarzkopf-Stardust hall. With bumper cars in particular, names and vehicles change over the years, while the supporting structure continues to be used.

Weitere vergleichbare Geschäfte findest du in unserer Attraktionsübersicht.
