Unterägeri – Chilbi Unterägeri 2027

Chilbi Unterägeri 2027 is provisionally planned for 2027. Here you can find the date, the fairground and visitor information that is still to be confirmed.

Chilbi Unterägeri 2027: expected September weekend

Chilbi Unterägeri is expected to take place from 4 to 6 September 2027. The dates follow the pattern of previous Ägerimärcht events. In 2026, the fairground rides were open on the first Saturday in September. The market ran on Sunday and Monday. For 2027, that means Saturday, 4 September, to Monday, 6 September. An explicitly confirmed announcement from the municipality for this new event has not yet been issued.

Where does Ägerimärcht take place?

For the 2026 event, the municipality named the Oberdorf car park as the location of the fairground rides. The market also extended through the village centre of Unterägeri. For 2027, we are initially using the Oberdorf car park as a reference point. No definitive layout plan for the upcoming event is known. Some stalls may therefore be located on other streets or in other areas.

Fairground rides, market and food and drink

Ägerimärcht is one of the traditional local events at Lake Ägeri. Fairground rides, market stalls and a range of food and drink are typical features. In 2026, the municipality also put crafts and specialities centre stage. This describes the character of previous events. However, there is no official list of attractions for 2027 yet. We therefore do not list showmen from the previous year as confirmed participants.

Chilbi Unterägeri 2027: admission and opening times

The public funfair and market area is listed as freely accessible. Rides and purchases may incur a charge. No specific prices for 2027 have been announced yet. Opening times have not yet been published. The previous year's market times are therefore not automatically presented as operating times for the new event. Any special offers are also yet to be confirmed.

Getting to Oberdorf

The Oberdorf car park is in the centre of Unterägeri in the canton of Zug. Use the address Oberdorf, 6314 Unterägeri as a guide. As the market uses parts of the village centre, access roads and parking may be restricted. This applies especially during set-up and market days. Please check for the latest announcements. If travelling by bus or car, check local transport services and travel information.

Ägerimärcht and other events

The funfair is often mentioned in connection with Ägerimärcht. The combination of rides, market and food and drink gives the annual event its character. However, the municipality still needs to confirm plans for 2027. You can find other events in the funfair calendar. For official information, you can check Gemeinde Unterägeri.
