Ennenda – Chilbi Ennenda 2027

The Chilbi Ennenda 2027 is expected to take place from Friday, 3 September, to Sunday, 5 September 2027. The Ennenda Tourism Association's Chilbi regulations set the first weekend in September as the annual date. The reported period therefore fits the official schedule, but has not yet been announced separately for 2027. Around Schulhaus Hof, you can look forward to a village fair with rides, stalls run by local associations and a range of food.

Chilbi Ennenda 2027 at Schulhaus Hof

Ennenda belongs to the municipality of Glarus and has its own Chilbi tradition. The festivities are centred on the Schulhaus Hof school grounds on Schulhausstrasse. The Ennenda Tourism Association coordinates the participation of local associations and the organisation of the festival site. Its regulations set the first weekend in September as the fixed date. As the first Sunday in September 2027 falls on 5 September, the expected period is from 3 to 5 September. The organisers still need to confirm the event itself.

Rides, games and activities run by associations

Chilbi Ennenda is a village fair with carousels, various games and food. Stalls run by associations are among its main features. Depending on the year's programme, you can enjoy different foods and activities for children and adults. The Tourism Association explains that the associations coordinate their offerings to provide a varied selection. However, an up-to-date list of showmen and individual rides for 2027 has not yet been published. Businesses from the 2026 edition are therefore not automatically included for the new year. Chilbi Ennenda 2027: opening hours

Opening hours have not yet been fully published. The Tourism Association's regulations state that the rides open from 18 on Friday, 15 on Saturday and 12.30 on Sunday. However, confirmed daily closing times for 2027 are not yet available. The associations' food stalls may also set their own opening hours. For this reason, no incomplete or unofficially supplemented MEC schedule is shown. Please note in particular that the opening times in the regulations do not replace a current 2027 timetable.

Food stalls, family activities and tradition

Ennenda's associations run various stalls, creating a place for people to get together. Previous editions have included a fish game, raffle, cakes and other snacks. Music and activities for children may also be part of the programme. However, these changing programme items are organised anew for each edition. We therefore do not list performances from previous years as confirmed for September 2027. Access to the publicly accessible festival site is usually free. Rides, games and food are charged separately.

Travel and organisation of the village fair

The Schulhaus Hof is located at Schulhausstrasse 7 in 8755 Ennenda. From Ennenda railway station, you can walk to the festival area. Regional buses also run through the valley. If you are travelling by car, expect limited parking at the school grounds during the festival weekend. The Ennenda Tourism Association publishes the rules for dates and organisation.
