What to expect
The Pfalzfest Ludwigshafen 2027 is expected to be held in Ebertpark from Friday, 11 June to Sunday, 20 June 2027. This period is an editorial estimate based on the ten days of festivities in the 2026 edition and has not been officially confirmed. This large fair combines an amusement park with modern rides, beer gardens, food and drink options, and entertainment. Entry to the fairground was most recently free, while rides, drinks and food had to be paid for separately.
Pfalzfest Ludwigshafen 2027: fair at Ebertpark
The Pfalzfest also takes place at Ebertpark, around Friedrich-Ebert-Halle in the Friesenheim district of Ludwigshafen. The fair has been held under its current name since 2022, continuing the tradition of the former Parkfest. The event is organised by the Göbel showman company from Worms together with LUKOM city marketing. The spacious park also provides room for carousels, games stalls, food and drink outlets and social meeting places. Although some programme details have yet to be confirmed, this mix is the defining feature of the Pfalzfest.
Rides, beer and wine village, and supporting programme
For the 2026 edition, the organiser announced modern major rides and special attractions. These included a Ferris wheel, the giant swing Air Power and other new rides. These attractions must not simply be listed as part of the line-up of rides for 2027. In addition to the fairground attractions, there was previously a beer and wine village with music and activities for different generations. It has not yet been confirmed whether there will again be fireworks, special family days or other programme highlights in 2027. An up-to-date site map and a list of rides by name will be added later.
Pfalzfest Ludwigshafen 2027: opening times
Opening times are provisional, as of 2026. For the previous ten-day edition, the organiser listed opening times of 14 to 24 on Fridays and Saturdays, 13 to 22 on Sundays and 14 to 22 from Monday to Thursday. These official times from the previous year are included in the calendar as a guide, but are not a confirmed operating schedule for 2027. LUKOM has yet to announce the exact dates and any special opening times. It is therefore worth checking again before you travel.
Admission and family tips for the Pfalzfest
In addition, LUKOM’s official event listing explicitly states that admission is free for 2026. This means you do not need a ticket to stroll around the public fairground. There are charges for individual rides, games, food, drinks and, where applicable, special offers. Free entry makes a visit flexible, especially for families. If the organisers set different conditions for 2027, these will need to be updated. Previous discount and promotion days are not yet a confirmation for the new year.
