Landshut – Landshuter Frühjahrsdult 2027

The Landshuter Frühjahrsdult 2027 takes place from Friday, 9 April to Sunday, 18 April 2027 at Grieserwiese. The City of Landshut has confirmed the date for the 641 edition in its official tender. For ten days, the event combines a funfair with rides and games, a traditional market fair and Bavarian festival culture. Landshuter Frühjahrsdult 2027 at Grieserwiese

Grieserwiese is on Wittstraße, near the Isar, and serves as the fairground for Landshut’s two major Dult fairs. The Frühjahrsdult takes place in spring, while the separate Bartlmädult is held in August. The Frühjahrsdult traditionally includes festival tents, beer gardens, market stalls and a large area with showmen’s rides. The city expects its Dult fairs to attract large crowds, so it is worth planning your journey, especially at weekends.

Funfair, market stalls and festival tents

At the funfair, you can usually discover large and small rides, children’s carousels and a range of games. There is also a market fair with stalls selling goods and regional food and drink. Festival tents offer Bavarian food and music too. However, the full list of individual operators bringing their rides in April 2027 has not yet been officially published. For this reason, previous appearances and old line-ups of rides are not treated as confirmed participants or linked to the new dates.

Landshuter Frühjahrsdult 2027: opening times

Opening times are provisional, as of 2026. The official Dult schedule distinguishes Fridays and Saturdays from the other days; the opening Friday also starts later. You can find these differences grouped by date in the MEC opening-times schedule for the funfair. The market fair has its own time slots, which should be checked separately when final plans are made. Tradition, opening and programme

The Frühjahrsdult is one of Landshut’s traditional fairs. Its origins are linked to the city’s market trade and former religious life. Previous editions have featured an opening ceremony, music in the tents, family activities and other highlights. However, no separate confirmed programme for 2027 is currently available. As a result, automatically carried-over fireworks, opening times or musical performances are not listed as confirmed programme items for this edition.

Admission and getting to Landshut

The fairground has generally been open to everyone free of charge in the past; rides, games, food and drink cost extra. If you are travelling by car, be aware of temporary road closures and parking rules around Grieserwiese. In previous years, the city also provided park-and-ride services during the Dult.
