Mannheim – Mannheimer Oktobermess 2027

The Mannheimer Oktobermess 2027 is expected to take place at Neuer Messplatz from 25 September to 10 October 2027. The dates are currently listed in external annual calendars, but have not yet been explicitly confirmed by the City of Mannheim for 2027. You can therefore provisionally note down the expected 16 days of funfair. Before making firm plans to visit, you should wait for the official announcement and detailed programme.

Mannheimer Oktobermess 2027: Funfair at Neuer Messplatz

This large autumn fair regularly transforms Neuer Messplatz in Neckarstadt into a lively funfair. Rides, game stalls and food and drink are all part of the event. There is also a beer garden area where you can relax. According to the city, around 140 businesses took part in the 2026 edition. However, this figure is not a confirmed number for the new edition, as the number and selection can change each year.

Rides, food and drink, and other attractions

Larger thrill rides alternate with classic carousels and family attractions across the spacious fairground. In previous years, modern round rides and Ferris wheels have visited Mannheim. It is not yet known which individual rides will actually be coming to 2027. For this reason, names from previous line-ups are not automatically carried over. This means you can be sure that a future list of attractions will only be published once participation in that specific edition has been confirmed.

Mannheimer Oktobermess 2027: Opening times

No daily opening times have yet been published specifically for autumn 2027. As a guide, we are therefore using the officially published daily times for 2026. Opening times are provisional, as of 2026. Fridays and Saturdays have longer opening times than other days of the week. You can find the weekly schedule in the structured opening-times plan. Any changes for public holidays or special events should later be checked against the organiser's announcement.

Admission, family days and fireworks

Last year, entry to the fairground was free; charges applied for rides, games, food and drink. The programme for the Oktobermess 2026 also included Happy Monday voucher offers, family days with discounts and fireworks. These specific programme days have not yet been officially announced for 2027. For this reason, we are deliberately not providing confirmed times for fireworks or an opening ceremony yet.

Getting there and latest information

Neuer Messplatz is accessible by public transport and is not located at the Mannheim Maimarkt site. Taking the tram or bus is a good idea, especially on popular evenings.
