Oldenburg – OsterLand 2027

OsterLand Oldenburg 2027 is expected to run from 25.03.2027 to 04.04.2027. Since 2022, OsterLand has regularly transformed Schlossplatz into a small spring fair in the heart of Oldenburg city centre. In previous years, it featured rides, stalls selling fairground treats and activities for families. The next edition is provisionally scheduled for 25 March to 4 April 2027, although this has not yet been explicitly confirmed by the organisers.

OsterLand Oldenburg 2027: Venue and history

Schlossplatz is in the heart of Oldenburg's historic city centre. This means you can easily combine a funfair visit with a stroll around the city centre. The fairground is more compact than the well-known Oldenburg Kramermarkt, but has its own atmosphere, especially at Easter. In previous years, the additional attractions included a small arts and crafts market and farmers' market. It's also worth checking out the surrounding area so you can find the entrances and walking routes in good time.

Rides, games stalls and food

The event has traditionally featured carousels for younger visitors, family-friendly rides and other typical fairground attractions. There have also been stalls selling savoury food, sweets and small gift ideas. For the 2027 edition, both the space available and the showmen taking part may change. As a result, some rides have not yet been confirmed as participants. This gives you an idea of the Easter event's character without confusing old attraction lists with current announcements.

Special Easter activities and family offers

OsterLand is a relatively new Easter event that has been running since 2022. Previous editions took place around Easter and made Schlossplatz a meeting place for families. A special Easter programme with activities for children is possible, but has not yet been confirmed for 2027. We therefore don't list an Easter egg hunt or other programme items without a current announcement. Once the programme for 2027 is available, individual highlights and their actual dates can be added.

OsterLand Oldenburg 2027: Opening times and planning your day

Opening times have not yet been published. There is also no confirmed daily schedule for 2027. Previous editions are known to have operated during the day, but the official information available is not enough to provide a reliable MEC schedule. OsterLand was closed on Good Friday in previous years. The organisers still need to confirm whether it will also be closed on Friday, 26 March 2027. The date 25.03–04.04.2027 has not yet been officially confirmed by the organisers. Especially around the Easter holidays, you should check the organisers' information again before setting off.

Admission and possible expenses

A general admission price for the 2027 edition has not yet been published. Individual rides, games, food and drinks may have their own prices. Check with the individual businesses for current prices and any family offers. If you're visiting with your family, you can plan a budget for rides and food in advance. You should also ask individual stalls about any family and discount offers.

Schlossplatz is centrally located and easily reached on foot from the city centre. Oldenburg's main railway station is also close to the city centre.
